Sometimes display pilots become spectators too. The performance at F1 Russia GP 2014 in Sochi was exactly that case
Big things are visible from a distance. The broadcasting was being held from the boards of our planes during the performance of the RUSS aerobatic team at the opening of Russian Grand Prix. Three video cameras in on-line regime transmitted the signals to the apparatus room of F1 broadcasting service. The team of the aerial cinematography camera men – Arthur Sarkisyan, Samvel Khachaturyan and Konstantin Kolotov – did a really great work to allow the whole world watch the bird’s eye panorama of SochiOlimpicParkin a live television broadcast!
