Airshow in Taganrog
Taganrog Aviation Science and Technology Complex named after G. M. Beriyev was founded on the 1st of October, 1934. It was important to organize the Central Design Bureau of Naval Aircraft Engineering at the aircraft factory No31 inTaganrog by that date. Georgy Mikhaylovich Beriyev was appointed the Chief Design Engineer of the Bureau. The main activity of the Design Bureau at that time was focused on the development of sea planes.
Since the date of foundation the staff of the TASTC (Taganrog Aviation Science and Technology Complex) named after G. M. Beriyev has designed 35 types of aircraft planes for different purposes. In the process of scientific-research and experimental development works the staff of TASTC got more than 900 invention certificates and patents on air crafts and construction elements.
TASTC actively participates in all international exhibitions such as International Air Show Le Bourget (France, Paris), Farnborough (Great Britain), ILA (Berlin,Germany), Asian Aerospace (Singapore), MAKS (Russia, Zhukovsky). Besides, TASTC named after G. M. Beriyev is a founder and organizer of the unique international exhibition and scientific conference in hydroaviation “Gidroaviasalon” (Russia, Gelendzhik).
